There have been some pretty crazy prices from Vancouver to New Zealand lately. Some of them may have been unintentional price drops by the airlines.
This one is an officially advertised sale by Air New Zealand. It's a 72 hour sale on dates between mid June and late November.
The prices aren't quite as crazy as seen lately, but still about 37% below the typical best prices between Vancouver and New Zealand.
The November dates are probably the most desirable, as it's late spring in New Zealand at that time.
Other destinations that have dropped in price:
Rarotonga, Cook Islands - $823 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Melbourne, Australia - $1015
Sydney, Australia - $1031
Brisbane, Australia - $1033

mid June to late November 2016
