Japan Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Bangkok, Thailand down to between $909 and $987 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in Tokyo, Japan each way.
The next cheapest flights on competing airlines are $1439 CAD roundtrip.
Common Question: Can I extend the stopover to spend some time in Japan as well?
Answer: You can, it adds about $85 to the price (see info below).
UPDATE: While there are not currently any fast flights available with Japan Airlines, ANA is showing some flights for $983 roundtrip, but they have a 15 hour layover in Tokyo on either the way there, or the way home. Try Nov 19, 21, 25, 26, 27 to Dec 11. Or Jan 27, 28, 29, 30 to Feb Feb 14.

- Look for the dates that are $983 to $1016 roundtrip.
2. Go to FlightHub or Skyscanner or Kayak
3. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Bangkok, Thailand (BKK)
- Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.

3. Try using dates that are similar to the roundtrip dates you found on Google Flights above.
For example, if you found a cheap roundtrip flight from April 8th to April 23rd, try starting with...
Apr 8 to Apr 18 to Apr 13
Play around with the middle date to give yourself more or less time in either country.
