Cathay Pacific has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines, Cambodia, and China down to between $650 and $750 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in Hong Kong each way.
Carry-on and a checked bag are included.
You can also likely find Multi City Open Jaw flights for a similar price (fly into one city, but home from another).
So far, Cathay Pacific has kept these flights off of Google Flights, making the dates somewhat of a challenge to explore.
To find them, you have to dig through the Cathay Pacific website as described below.

The easiest way to find these is to start by looking for a deal to a city in the same country.
For example, first look for a deal to Bangkok using the links above. And then during the search process, change the destination city to Chiang Mai.
