This is 53% below the typical best roundtrip prices from Vancouver to Panama.
Availability for travel
November to mid December 2016
mid January to the first week of March 2017
How to find and book this deal
1. Start with a Google Flights search like this one:
Google Flights: Vancouver to Panama
2. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view, and browse for date combinations that are $469 or $472 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
3. Go to Skyscanner or Momondo
4. Search for a flight from Vancouver to Panama City, Panama (PTY)
Try starting with the same dates you found on Google Flights.
So far I've had the best luck using dates where you...
..depart on a Monday, Tuesday, Friday, or Sunday.
... return on a Monday or Friday.
If you use the above days of the week, you'll find flights for $278 or $281 CAD roundtrip including taxes. However, the flight on the way home is a little long, with nearly a 6 hour layover in Mexico City.
If you choose to return on a Wednesday instead, you may find flights for $20 more, with a more reasonable 3 hour layover in Mexico City.
5. Click through from Skyscanner or Momondo.ca to the booking site showing the cheap flight price.

Went to check flights last night and cant seem to find those prices.
Once you click into the flight deal that is now priced at $318 they will say the price changed. But when I search it again in skyscanner it gives me the option of 340 again but once you click on it to book it it is $700. Stupid..
Unfortunately that can happen for about 24 hours after a price changes back.
The Aeromexico prices started changing back on Thursday morning.
