What is it like to fly with Interjet? Here are the most recent comments from YVR passengers who have flown with Interjet

"Theyre pretty chill. Never any problems"

"Flown a couple of times with Interjet. They can be strict with weight depending on which airport. YVR they weighed by carry-on AND backpack (personal item) and the combined had to be 10kg. (I was 10.1 kg and they didn't charge). At CUN they only weighed by carryon but others they weighed both. Flight was pleasant tho, don't expect gourmet meals, cold sandwich cheap beer."

"Flying direct with interjet to Mexico next week and was upgraded at no cost!"

"Great airline! Better than Air Canada"

"They definitely weigh bags at YVR. We thought Interjet was great. There was lots of legroom. The plane was in good shape and clean feeling. They fed us a sandwich in the middle of the flight to Mexico City. The only difficult thing was the overnight aspect of our flight."

"Fantastic airline. Had no problem with bag strictness to cancun and back. I'll probably take them again this year."

"I have flown Interjet many times both within Mexico and YVR- MEX. They beat all other airlines hands down. Food and booze included in airfare. If a senior you will automatically get a 20% discount within Mexico. Seating has more leg room, Fares are within normal (cheap) ranges."

"Flew to Mexico city at Xmas. Was fine with my backpack carry on. Coming back, not great communication with passengers at Mex airport regarding flight delays."

" They are better then Air Canada"

"So far only had 1 flight delay in 4 or 5 trips. Great inexpensive flights with more leg room and free snacks and drinks"

" We fly Interjet going to Cancun all the time. Free snacks and alcoholic beverages. Lots of leg room. Great price. Only problem was when leaving Mexico. Very slow when checking in. Get to airport at least 2 - 3hrs early. Better than WestJet and Air Canada."

"Just flew home with them yesterday. Lots of leg room. No issues with our carry on luggage. It is great that they provide free sandwiches and beverages, but during a 6 hour flight they only provided service once and that was 2 hours into the flight. Passengers were having to get up and go to the back of the plane to ask for water. Just so you are aware the alcohol is just hard liquor, no beer or wine. Flew down to Mexico with Air Canada and had water offered at least 4 times. You would be best to take your own water and snacks on board."

"Fantastic flights and service for us last year."

"Neighbor flew them to PVR and their return flight was canceled and they had to find and book new flights to get home, paid lots out of pocket!"

"We flew InterJet YVR to OAX last fall and everything was fine, good service for the price, and as others mentioned, good leg room."

"We just flew to Mexico on them in March. We had great service. Lots of leg room. Way better than our experience with West Jet"

" I had a great experience flying to yvr to cun! They even provided a meal on the flight!"

"Soooo much legroom!"

"Lots of leg room"

"I flew yvr to Cancun return and it was great. The most leg room I have ever had on a flight that I didn’t upgrade."
