Vancouver to Toronto or Montreal - $244 to $292 CAD roundtrip including taxes [nonstop flights in summer 2023]

Air Transat has become the first airline to offer up some cheap flights from Vancouver to Ontario and Quebec for the 2023 summer season.
Nonstop flights from Vancouver to Toronto are available for $244 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Nonstop flights from Vancouver to Montreal are available for $292 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Flights as far away as August 2023 are available. The availability for summer dates is wide open, including over long weekends.
Vice-versa flights (Toronto or Montreal to Vancouver) are available for a similar roundtrip price.
Air Canada and WestJet are currently priced at $800-$850 CAD roundtrip. Flair has not yet loaded their fares for summer 2023.
Availability for travel
Toronto: May, June, July, August, September 2023
Montreal: October, November, first half of December 2022 and January, February, late March, late April, May, June, July, August, September 2023
How to find and book this deal
1. Try the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Vancouver to Toronto
Google Flights: Vancouver to Montreal
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
- Adjust the trip length at the bottom.
- NOTE: On Google Flights you will notice that you can only browse for dates up to August 12th, 2023. See Step 2 for info on finding cheap flights beyond that date.
2. Go to Kayak or Skyscanner or FlightHub
- Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
- NOTE: On Google Flights you will notice that you can only browse for dates up to August 12th, 2023. If you search for dates manually on Kayak or Skyscanner or FlightHub you can find cheap flights up to September 12th, 2023.
